Stone Lab is now an exclusive supplier of Metal coated counter surfaces from Metallo TM.
Metallo TM countertop surfaces offer the potential to create unique Kitchen, Island, Bar, or Table Tops with the ability to incorporate waterfall edges, unique edge profiles, curved profile details and undermount sinks. Complex shapes are near impossible to achieve using sheet metal products, yet with Metallo TM , the result is a luxurious and versatile surface not previously available due to the limitations in metal forming.
This unique new surface employs a unique and exclusive metal finish coating applied meticulously overtop of a waterproof composite core material. The finish is composed of actual metal particles that are fused to this core and result in a sophisticated surface unlike any other in the industry. Metallo TM currently offers over 10 finishes and over 10 edge profiles.
Much like real metal countertops, Metallo TM surfaces are durable and beautiful and develop a rich aged patina over time, and the surface modeling and variations in color are inherent to the character of the surface finish. Copper finishes are have natural antimicrobial characteristics whereby viruses and germs cannot survive extended contact with the surface. All surfaces can be coated using a durable clear coat that offers added longevity to the finish.
